Hull Daily Mail Business Awards 2017
Horncastle Group Plc are delighted to be once again supporting the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards, which are being held tonight at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel at Willerby. We would like to wish all finalists the best of luck, especially Nancy's Larder of Hull and INIT Creative of Cottingham, who are finalists for our Start-up Business of the Year Award, which we are jointly sponsoring with MKM Building Supplies.
DPD take possession of new Distribution Hub at Ozone, Howden
DPD, the UK’s favourite parcel delivery company, has taken possession of a new distribution depot in Howden, built by leading property developer the Horncastle Group PLC. The 47,145sqft unit, on Ozone Business Park, near Junction 37 or the M62, will create 50 jobs and forms a hub for the company’s parcel distribution services across East Yorkshire and the wider region. Rollits Charity Golf Tournament 2016
Rollits Charity Golf Tournament took place on Thursday 7th July 2016 at Brough Golf Club, raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK and Dove House Hospice. Both of these charities carry out important work locally and the Horncastle Group were once again delighted to support the event. This year, we sponsored a prize for the team with the best score during the second half of the tournament. East Yorkshire Classic Cycle Race 2016
The East Yorkshire Classic Town Centre Cycle Race came to Beverley on Friday 8th July 2016 and Horncastle Group Plc were delighted to once again co-sponsor the event. As part of the 2016 British Cycling Elite Circuit Services, Beverley is event 4 of 8. Huge crowds gathered in Saturday Market to watch the start and finish of the 60 minute close circuit race, as cyclists sped around the streets of Beverley town centre battling for the coveted series title and a share of the £4,800 total prize fund. Cat Zero Cycle Challenge 2016
Horncastle Group Plc and W A Horncastle Charitable Trust were proud to support the Cat Zero Cycle Challenge 2016 last weekend. Despite the adverse weather conditions, approximately 20 cyclists set off on Friday 10th June from Albert Dock in Liverpool, rode over the Pennines on Saturday 11th and finished in Hull for a celebration event and Hog Roast on Sunday 12th. The Challenge was for each cyclist to raise £500 each towards training and mentoring young people via Cat Zero programmes. The total raised so far is just over £8,000. [...]
