Humber LEP Sector Delivery Plan draft June 2013 and the Hull Competitive Assessment by IBM commissioned by Hull Citybuild 2006

Having read the emerging draft delivery plan it is interesting to consider this with the 2006 Competitive Assessment. In particular the local economic impact of the ports and emerging renewables sector, within but not evident in the economic data provided for the board of the North Bank Partnership. The recent report for the LEP sheds some interesting light on this. East Riding Employment Land Review Workshop

Representatives from the local business and property industry attended this workshop. Mail News and Media Business Awards 2012

Horncastle Group PLC and MKM Building Supplies once again were joint sponsors of the Start up Business of the Year Award at the annual Mail News and Media Business Awards held at Willerby Manor last night. Flat Tyre Cycle Ride

This weekend Horncastle Group Chairman Andrew Horncastle will join a group of 10 cyclists to begin a ride from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in order to raise money for The Daisy Appeal. The Daisy Appeal is a local charity which is delivering a brand new state-of-the art PET-CT scanning facility at Castle Hill Hospital while also funding scientists at Hull University who are helping to develop PET-CT technology. ‘Unique’ Letting at 25 South Street

We are delighted to announce that we have secured a new letting to Unique Comms Group at 25 South Street in Hull City Centre.  The independent internet services company have recently moved into 25 and are occupying the entire third floor of the building.  The building is ideal for Unique Comms as it provides them with the space that they need for future expansion in a great city centre location.  The refurbished building with its striking external appearance continues to prove popular and we hope to have the building fully let in the near future.
