South Hunsley to develop new primary school
South Hunsley School & Sixth Form College is in the final stages of submitting an application to the Department of Education for a new primary school that will be built as part of the new Brough South housing development. A public drop-in session is being held on Tuesday 4th December 2012 between 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. in the Brough Community Centre for anybody interested in finding out more about the application for Hunsley Primary School.

Mail News and Media Business Awards 2012
Horncastle Group PLC and MKM Building Supplies once again were joint sponsors of the Start up Business of the Year Award at the annual Mail News and Media Business Awards held at Willerby Manor last night. Flat Tyre Cycle Ride
This weekend Horncastle Group Chairman Andrew Horncastle will join a group of 10 cyclists to begin a ride from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in order to raise money for The Daisy Appeal. The Daisy Appeal is a local charity which is delivering a brand new state-of-the art PET-CT scanning facility at Castle Hill Hospital while also funding scientists at Hull University who are helping to develop PET-CT technology. Green Park, Newport, East Yorkshire
The Horncastle Group Plc are seeking expressions of interest from competent contractors to tender for the first phase of the construction of the roads and sewers on Green Park, Newport, East Yorkshire. The anticipated value of the contract is expected to be circa £250,000. It is to be tendered during September / October 012 and works undertaken in January – March 2013. Congratulations to Alex Smith and Luke Campbell
Horncastle Group would like to congratulate Alex Smith and Luke Campbell on their outstanding achievements at the London 2012 Olympics. It is fantastic to see athletes from Hull competing and succeeding at the highest level and we are delighted to have been able to help Alex by providing access to one of our units for indoor training. We are pleased to announce that Marston’s have submitted a planning application for a family pub on The Beacon site at Brighton Street, Hull. The Beacon is already home to KFC and Costa Coffee and is proving to be a popular destination.
