TNT have taken Unit Two at The Ozone – J37 M62 at Howden in East Yorkshire
Local property company Horncastle have let this 44,330 sqft warehouse to national parcels business TNT. The building was built in 2007 and has the benefit of an A rated energy performance certificate. Originally occupied by a shipping company and more recently by another national parcels business agents had received a number of enquiries for the vacant unit prior terms being agreed for the new letting. The Ozone lies in the growing Howden and Goole employment hub located on the A614 Howden Road, just half a mile from junction 37 off the M62 motorway. Work starts on Office Two at The Beacon Hull
Local developer Horncastle have awarded a second building to contractors PDR Construction. This one will provide 10,463 sqft over three floors. The architecture will be similar to the recently completed Office One. The development is being supported by a grant from the European Regional Development Fund 2007-2015 programme. It is planned to complete the building by the end of August this year and it is available for either freehold sale complete or on leasehold terms in whole or part from 3000sqft

With construction completed Horncastle handed over the keys to this brand new gradeA office building to City Health Care Partnership CIC. The building comprises 15,779 sqft over three storeys and has been built to BREEAM very good and carries with it an A rated energy performance certificate. Grant for Green Park – M62 Junction 38 Newport
Local Developer Horncastle has been awarded a grant from the European Regional Development Fund to open up an 18 acre business park. The funding will facilitate the initial construction of ten small office buildings and a 20,000sqft industrial unit. It is proposed to start work on the site in the spring of 2014 and the first buildings will be available at the end of the year on either freehold or leasehold terms.

I had a look at the City Plan document, what I see is very vague and on the face of it wishful, who are the authors? Am I missing something with this district heating system, to me it relies on an active build by house builders and constructors of other new buildings who will incorporate the energy, to be economic these will have to be together, where is the development planned.
