Wind energy plan for Green Park – Newport

Green Park is an all new employment park to be built at junction 38 on the M62. It is anticipated that when complete the site could provide several hundred new jobs. Countdown to the launch of Green Park – Newport

  Work on this all new Horncastle employment and leisure park at junction 38 on the M62 will begin within the next few weeks. Tenders have been returned and the successful contractor will be announced shortly. The first phase will include roads and infrastructure, together with a 20,000 sqft industrial unit capable of subdivision and ten Eco-office buildings. The project is being supported by the European Union ERDF 2007 - 2013 programme. More details of the development will be available soon. Grant for Green Park – M62 Junction 38 Newport

Local Developer Horncastle has been awarded a grant from the European Regional Development Fund to open up an 18 acre business park. The funding will facilitate the initial construction of ten small office buildings and a 20,000sqft industrial unit. It is proposed to start work on the site in the spring of 2014 and the first buildings will be available at the end of the year on either freehold or leasehold terms.
