Anti-slavery and human trafficking policy
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of an individual’s basic human rights. Modern slavery includes, slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, these can all involve the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them. Horncastle Group PLC has a zero-tolerance to modern slavery and is committed to acting properly with integrity in all our business activity. We shall enforce effective methods to make sure modern slavery does not take place within our business and in our trading relations.
At Horncastle Group PLC we expect our suppliers and sub-contractors to adopt robust procedures within their businesses and supply chains.
All Horncastle Group PLC employees are required to report to their manager immediately should they suspect any activity that contravenes this policy to this extent we are committed to operating in a transparent manner. Notification should be as soon as possible in any situation if you believe or suspect that a conflict with this policy has occurred, or may occur in the future.
This policy shall apply to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees at all levels, directors, managers, office and production staff volunteers, contractors, consultants, customers and other third parties.
The board of directors has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control comply with it.
All our team are encouraged to read this policy and ensure that they comply with it. Should anyone have any questions in regard to it then they should raise questions to their manager or to a director.
